Andrea Mah with Mega Watt

COPE 378’s Take Back the Power campaign is continuing its outreach and community work at festivals, fairs and markets throughout BC this summer, attending two hugely popular festivals in Maple Ridge and Campbell River this past weekend.

Campaign mascot Mega Watt, now a mainstay at Vancouver Canadians games, was a big hit at the Maple Ridge Jazz and Blues Festival on Saturday and Sunday, posing for pictures with kids, handing out campaigns giveaways, and helping get the message out about the threats to our environment and economy of private power projects on rivers throughout BC.
