Join COPE 378 Members at the Vancouver Pride Parade

As has become an annual tradition, COPE 378 members are once again invited to participate in the 2012 Vancouver Pride Parade. Everyone is welcome and invited to join the Local 378 parade contingency along with other unions as part of Multi-Union Pride on Sunday, August 5th, 2012.

Where: Thurlow St. at Barclay, beside the Fire Station, look for the Multi-Union Pride Float.
When: Sunday, August 5, 2012. Must be there by 11:45 AM sharp.

Note: The parade can often take a few hours to complete. Make sure you’re prepared with sunscreen and water.

The parade provides an opportunity to show our continued support of the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender community, their friends, allies and supporters in celebration of the unique spirit and culture of the LGBT community. We hope to see you on August 5th.

New Westminster is also holding Pride events from August 16-19, which you may be interested in attending. These include a kick-off comedy night on August 16th and the Pride Festival itself on Sunday, August 18th at Tipperary Park beside New Westminster City Hall.
