Jack Layton's Vancouver Celebration of Life

On Saturday, August 27th, there will be three gatherings to watch the state funeral for the Honourable Jack Layton in the Lower Mainland. Here are the details:

Indoor Location

Vancouver Public Library Central Branch
Alice Mackay Room
350 West Georgia Street, Vancouver
(near Granville Skytrain Station)
Door opens at 10:15a.m.
Live broadcast of the ceremony begins at 11a.m.
Limited seats available on a first come first serve basis

Outdoor Location

Canada Place
999 Canada Place, Outdoor screens
(near Waterfront skytrain station)
Public gathering begins at 10a.m.
Ceremony begins at 11a.m..

Please note that there will be no seating arrangement at the Canada Place location. Participants at the outdoor venue are asked to bring their own refreshment for a toast to Jack!
